Middleton MA Real Estate has something for everyone looking for a beautiful home in an
excellent location. Geographically, Middleton sits in the low hills in the northeastern area of
Massachusetts. A river runs through it, specifically the famed Ipswich River. Because of its age,
homes of many different shapes, sizes and prices are available to those seeking a new abode.

The name Middleton is derived from its location; it lies mid-way between the important early
settlements of Salem and Andover. And even today, this town is in an excellent situation for
commuting to many nearby cities. Driving to Boston takes a short thirty minutes, while driving
to Salem by car is only twenty.

Like many other towns on the coast, Middleton has been around for a long time, and
nostalgically preserves America’s “days of yore” in both its architecture and small town culture.
But architecture is not all that Middleton preserves. This New England town is home to one of
Massachusetts’ oldest trees. At nearly 400 years old, this tree still stands, living, on 53 Peabody
Street. Homes and buildings dating from 1693 are still being occupied in the town today.

Middleton is the fastest growing town on the North Shore. Since 2000, the town has grown by
nearly two thousand people, taking the population from around seven thousand to nine thousand.
But this is no cause for alarm; much of the town’s historical and rural integrity remains intact.

Many of those residing in Middleton MA Real Estate play for professional sports teams. These
athletes include Lyndon Byers, Brian Rolston, P.J. Axelsson, Sergei Samsonov, and Kyle
McClaren of the Boston Bruins, as well as Jo Jo White and Rasheed Wallace of the Boston
Celtics.

If you have a family, Middleton is an excellent place to settle and raise children. The school
system in Middleton employs excellent teachers and has an above average budget for each
studentm compared to the national average. There is a library in the center of town, as well
as easy access to shopping areas and recreational activities. The local community provides
little league sports for both boys and girls, including baseball, softball, football, cheerleading,
and soccer. There is an official Boy Scout troop in the area as well. Dads can enjoy the many
acclaimed golf courses surrounding Middleton’s ponds. Moms can take advantage of the yoga
studios, art galleries, and boutiques in the town limits.

There are a wide variety of interesting and restaurants and retail shops in the area, including a
Teak specialty shop, a Siamese Grill, and an old Cuban cigar factory. Most of these stores are
housed in older examples of Middleton MA Real Estate—antique homes— that have been used
for commercial purposes, making the retail experience of consumers in the area both quaint and
cozy.

For activities that the whole family can do together, think about taking a day off and visiting
local attractions in neighboring cities. Nearby Andover features a lovely bird sanctuary, while
Groveland has a large park which is ideal for picnicking. No matter what time of year it is,
Middleton is an ideal place to be located because it is in the middle of everything you need! Call
